What we offer

- We are the partner of choice for statutory bodies because of our reputation in managing projects successfully and involving multiple community partners, large and small (see our mental wellbeing project here and our unscheduled care project here)
- We conduct participatory research with local people, including people with communication barriers, through the community researchers we train in different local organisations so that can champion the health issues that concern local communities (see our unscheduled care project here and our maternity project here)
- Advice and support in how to engage with the local community, how to set up successful community projects and what the community’s priorities are according to our latest research
- Mental wellbeing support from our multi lingual peer support volunteers who are trained to provide non judgmental emotional support and practical help to local people in different community languages (see our mental wellbeing project here)
To BME community organisations and other voluntary organisations:
- A convenient means to advertise and hear about local services, events, training courses, funding opportunities and job vacancies through our website and our mailing list (join our mailing list here)
- The means to question and engage with NHS and local authority commissioners and providers at our public meetings (see dates of next meeting here)
- Opportunities to take part in funded health projects that provide organisational support, training and make a difference to the local community
- Advice and support in how to engage with the local commissioners and providers, how to set up successful community projects and what the statutory sector priorities are according to our latest information
