The General Medical Council (GMC) is running a public consultation on its updated version of Good medical practice. This sets the standards of professional behaviour and patient care expected from all doctors in the UK. It emphasises a patient’s right to be treated with dignity, respect and to be involved in decisions about their care. Patients, members of the public and patient groups can share their views by taking part in a short survey for patients. It takes around 15 minutes to complete and it’s open until 20 July 2022.

Volunteer for Westminster Befriend a Family's Mentoring for Mums programme and support mums with parenting challenges, getting into employment and education and providing a listening ear. You will get Mentoring training, monthly supervision, one to one support, and a sense of empowerment and achievement.
The Mentoring for Mums programme provides emotional, social and practical support to mothers of children aged 5 and up, either online, over the phone or face to face. Over 12 to 24 weeks mentors offer coaching-style support to empower mums to identify changes they wish to make and goals they wish to achieve. Volunteers support mums, provide listening ear and talk through the challenges mothers face.

FREE Multi Sports Sessions being delivered by SportWest across the borough. These are starting the week commencing the 21st June. Targeted at 14 – 18 year olds but the age range is flexible. Locations include Lisson Green MUGA, QPG Sports Pitch, Amberley Estate Pitch, and Churchill Gardens Youth club pitch.
All children aged 2 and 3 can have a free flu vaccine at their GP practice. The vaccine is usually given as a single painless spray squirted up the nose. This spray contains a highly processed from of porcine gelatine. The NHS are now able to offer an alternative to families who prefer not to have the nasal spray. Parents of 2/3year olds can request an injected flu vaccine for their child at their GP practice. This injected vaccine does NOT contain gelatine.
