London Resilience Newsletter - January 2026
Dear Partners,
We hope everyone is having a successful start to 2026. In this edition you’ll find lots of exciting launches, training and funding opportunities and the latest happenings from the world of Resilience.
February will mark LGBTQ+ History Month and we are reminded that disasters and emergencies do not affect everyone equally. London Resilience is working with Protection Approaches to launch a new London Resilience Equalities Partnership which you can find information on in this newsletter.
Last week the Common ground: Building cohesive communities report was published. This new guidance on social cohesion, authored by Belong Network and endorsed by the Local Government Assocation (LGA), aims to help local authorities fulfil this role. It provides local authorities with the tools to address the challenges they face and share good practice, with the goal of building cohesive communities.
Follow us to stay up to date with the latest from the world of Resilience – including campaigns, funding, launches and news! If you’d like to include anything in future editions, please reach out directly to Louisa Cavell, our Resilience Communications Manager.
