Bilingual advocates help people who speak little or no English to access NHS services and advocate for them during treatment as needed.

The service is available in Arabic, Amharic, Bengali, Sylheti, Farsi, Tigrinya and French, and delivered by the following organisations:

• Al Hasaniya Moroccan Women's Centre
• Ethiopian Women's Empowerment Group
• Iranian Association
• MBS Centre Ltd
• Neighbourhood Doulas
• SW1C

Learning from the patient and health advocate experiences is used to help the NHS make services more accessible and improve outcomes, particularly for people from Global Majority communities.
