Carers Kensington & Chelsea provides information, advice and support for unpaid carers - people looking after someone who cannot manage on their own. This service is provided by Carers UK in partnership with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and NHS Kensington and Chelsea.
How will Carers K&C be able to help?
They can provide advice and information on:
- the benefits carers can claim
- how to get support from the Council
- help with completing carers’ assessment forms
- health support available locally
- local services that can support carers
- how to get support for the person you are looking after.
Advice service
You can contact the advice service by ringing freephone number 0800 032 1089 (Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm). If you hear the voicemail message please leave your name and phone number and they will ring you back within 48 hours. Or you can email them at kandc@carersuk.org
They can also provide you with face-to-face advice by appointment or at a drop in session at the following locations:

Newsletters and Information Packs for carers
Carers K&C produce the News for Carers newsletter which comes out four times each year. This can be sent to your home, or they can email a copy to you.
They also create a Carers Information Pack each year. This focuses on the local resources that are available to help you in your caring role.
