2026 BMA Foundation grants to open on 1 January 2026

The BMA Foundation awards research grants each year (this year totalling almost £1 million) to encourage and further medical research in a variety of areas. One of these grants, the Helen Lawson, is to promote research into ethnicity-related inequities in maternal health.

This grant, and other BMA Foundation grants will open soon for online application via the BMA Foundation website. The application deadline is 6 March 2026.

The Foundation would like to raise awareness of the availability of this grant to as wide an audience as possible. Given the scope of your organisation we would be grateful if you could promote the availability of this grant to interested individuals.
