ACAA in collaboration with Geety Sultani Ltd, proudly presents Sharafat Parwani, the acclaimed King of Afghan Mahali Folk Music.

Renowned for his soulful Dari songs and fusion of Middle Eastern and Central Asian folk styles, Sharafat has achieved international acclaim with hits like “Lala Lala” and performances across the globe.

This special concert will also serve as a vigil and moment of reflection in light of the recent Uxbridge attack — bringing our community together through music, remembrance, and unity.

Join us for Chai and Chat, a collaborative joint event co-organised by Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind (HFEH) and Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) in support of Islamophobia Awareness Month.

This year’s theme, “Flip the Script,” explores how we can challenge misconceptions faced by the Muslim community, celebrate achievements, and build stronger interfaith connections. 

This is an interfaith and mixed-gender event — everyone is welcome!

 

 

ACAA Contract Launch Ceremony in Brent

Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Support for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and former UASC in the London Borough of Brent

Join us to learn how this new three-year contract, funded by Brent Council, will support Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and former UASC aged 16-21 in Brent through emotional wellbeing, mental health care, and integration services.

Brent is home to 37 UASC and 166 former UASC, many of whom have faced conflict, loss, and displacement, leading to isolation and emotional trauma.

The programme will offer a safe spacetherapeutic and one-to-one support, and pathways to education and employment, helping young people overcome trauma, build resilience, and find belonging as they rebuild their lives.
