Amber Heat-Health Alert in London from 8-12 July 202

To help yourself and your community, you can:
Check in on older people & those with a health or mental health condition
Be alert to signs of heat exhaustion or heatstroke, following NHS guidance
Use and promote our Cool Spaces map, for those who seek respite while out and about
Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
Take care to avoid wildfire risks, including with outdoor disposable BBQs, follow guidance from London Fire Brigade
Avoid being out in the sun from 11am-3pm and wear sun protection
Be mindful of water safety, water can be very cold and can cause shock, follow guidance from London Fire Brigade
