Breast Cancer Now - Train the Trainer programme opportunity (20.11.25)
Anyone can be affected by breast cancer, so it’s important to be breast aware. Join our Train the Trainer programme and help us deliver breast awareness information to your community.
The Train the Trainer (TtT) pilot programme is being delivered across four pilot sites in Scotland and England: Leicester, Westminster, Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
The programme aims to train local health care professionals, health promotion workers and community workers to promote breast awareness, breast screening and risk reduction messages. Following training, participants will have the confidence, knowledge and resources to have informed conversations within their communities.
Training is free and offered as a one-day in person workshop or as a self-directed e-learning course. All trainees will have access to an online learning hub, educational webinars and Breast Cancer Now resources. Trainees will also benefit from ongoing support from the TtT team and the opportunity to apply for a small community engagement grant. The training runs from August 2025 to July 2026, with ongoing support until July 2027.
We’ll be delivering an in-person training in Westminster on Thursday 20 of November!
