The Community In‑Reach Programme is about working with community
organisations led by or supporting African and Caribbean people across Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster and hosting culturally rooted health & wellbeing events in places people know and trust. Instead of expecting people to travel to clinics or navigate complicated systems, events bring support and advice into places where people already gather such as community centres, faith spaces, youth hubs, cultural venues and more.
The programme is delivered in partnership by:
- BME Health Forum — local programme lead
- Kensington & Chelsea Social Council (KCSC)
- One Westminster
- The African Caribbean Think Tank
- NHS North West London Integrated Care Board - who fund the programme.
