Who are the London Communities Emergencies Partnership (LCEP)?

A quick reminder that LCEP exists to support charities and community groups across London to prepare for, coordinate during, and learn from major emergencies. They are a partnership of over 200 charities, meeting quarterly to share learning, hear from experts, and strengthen collaboration across the sector. Recent sessions have focused on hate crime impacts and recovery, giving partners space to learn from each other and build confidence in responding to complex challenges.

Head to their website for more information, and sign up now as a partner if you haven’t done so.

How can LCEP help?

During an emergency, LCEP can support by:

  • Attending pan‑London coordination meetings with London Resilience partners,
  • Sharing learning from past emergencies and crises,
  • Providing coordination support for voluntary and community groups,
  • Collating information and resources,
  • Helping organisations access further support from across the LCEP network and wider.

You can access LCEP’s Emergency Response Activation Guide here, if you need support.
