Enhanced end-of-life care beds

One area that people have asked us to provide more information on is enhanced end-of-life care beds and we have published an article on our website in order to do so.

This covers why we are proposing their introduction and who will be providing the care and support to patients admitted to the beds.

Updates to frequently asked questions

We have also updated our frequently asked questions.

This now includes further information on access to hospice beds, the difference between NHS-run and NHS-funded services and the importance of charitable hospices in service delivery.

Easy read versions of the summary consultation document and questionnaire

We have worked with The Advocacy Project to create an easy read summary of the consultation document and the questionnaire.

These have now been published and will also be used by the Advocacy Project to support engagement on the consultation with people with learning disabilities.
