Cool Spaces for London Communities - Funding opportunity for community venues

London_Resilience_logo.pngLONDON RESILIENCE has a new funding opportunity for community venues to play a stronger role in extreme heat preparedness and response.

The application form requires applicants to include their local authority in their proposal and outline their existing links with the council, e.g, on any heat response strategy. If you are working with community organisations that are – or could be - doing strong work in this space, please think about applying. You can see the details below.

£2,700 Grant Opportunity: Cool Spaces for London Communities project

This year the London Communities Emergencies Partnership is distributing £ 2,700 grants to ten community venues across London.

The grants are designed to equip ten community venues with the tools, knowledge and networks they need to fill key gaps for extreme heat preparedness. Grantees can use the funding for identifying local strategic partnerships and cross-sector collaboration, staff training or necessary resilience activities, and enhancements for heat and all-season resilience hub usage.
