Help shape the Inclusive Talent Strategy
The written consultation on the Mayor of London and London Councils’ new Inclusive Talent Strategy has now launched: www.london.gov.uk/ITSconsultation
This integrated workforce plan for the city will support Londoners to access the skills they need to get quality jobs and support employers to access the talent pool they need. The Inclusive Talent Strategy is a key action of the London Growth Plan and will set out how London Government will work collaboratively to grow London’s skilled workforce and get more Londoners into quality jobs through a more integrated, employer-led skills and employment system.
The Strategy focuses on 6 overarching themes:
- integrate jobs, skills, health and careers services for Londoners
- grow and diversify workforces in growth sectors
- support Londoners facing barriers to work get into quality jobs and increase London's supply of workers
- give Londoners the skills to be resilient to big shifts in the labour market – AI, the transition to net zero – and fill the job opportunities these generate
- promotion of London’s skills sector internationally and making sure London remains attractive for the best talent in the world
- make London a centre of excellence for fair pay and good work.
Your insights will help ensure the Strategy is grounded in lived experience, shaped by evidence, and capable of delivering real change for Londoners and employers alike.
The consultation closes at 11:59pm on Thursday 17 July, and we would be grateful if you could share the consultation link and communications pack with your networks, to help us get as many diverse views as possible. Please note that responses are not saved until the whole form is submitted. The questions can be downloaded, and it is recommended that this is done to draft answers separately first.
