Congratulations to our January Hub of the Month Compass Community Hub

The Compass Community Hub is a vibrant, welcoming space dedicated to enhancing wellbeing and creating opportunities for a brighter future. They provide a wide range of services to support individuals and families, including learning programs, social activities, creative workshops, and access to essential resources. They have a holistic approach to their services, from creative craft sessions and accredited learning to essential wellbeing initiatives. They’ve created a "one-stop-shop" for community empowerment.

Compass Community has already helped hundreds of individuals gain vital qualifications, tackle social isolation, and build the confidence needed for a brighter future. As a standout member of the National Digital Inclusion Network, the hub has seamlessly integrated technology into their mission. By utilising device donations from the National Device Bank and connectivity schemes, they’ve bridged the digital divide for families who previously faced significant barriers to the modern world. Beyond the stats, the feedback from participants tells the real story, a story of new friendships, improved mental health, and a community that is learning to thrive together.

Network Meetup 9th March - Helen’s reflections

Join us in March for our next online network meetup, with outgoing CEO Helen Milner chairing for the last time before her retirement.

Helen Milner OBE founded Good Things Foundation in 2011 and has provided visionary leadership ever since, not just as the CEO of Good Things but across the landscape of digital inclusion in the UK and beyond.

We are bringing the network together for a last opportunity to hear Helen's reflections on the incredible impact and value of the network as well as her hopes for the future of digital inclusion.

Our network meet ups are for all members and we welcome all staff and volunteers, whether you're a regular attendee or this is your very first event! You can expect the usual friendly, relaxed Good Things style with plenty of opportunity to share your thoughts, ask questions and connect with others doing such vital work in digital inclusion.

The meetup takes place 10.00-12.00 on Monday 9th March 2026. We hope you can join us!
