To increase your knowledge and understanding of:
- Types of Falls: Learn about the different ways falls can happen, such as slips, trips, or medical falls. Understanding these types helps us recognise when and where falls are most likely to occur.
- Falls Risk Factors: Explore the various reasons why someone might be more likely to fall and how we use this information to reduce this risk.
- Reducing risk of having a fall: Find out what you can do to lower your risk of falling. This includes practical tips for staying active, making your home safer, and managing your health.
- Available services: Get to know the services and programs that can help you prevent falls or recover after one. We'll highlight where to find help and what kind of support is out there.
