Frontline19 - free, confidential psychological support to NHS and UK frontline workers
Frontline19 offers free, confidential psychological support to NHS and UK frontline workers who are coping with stress, anxiety, burnout, trauma or emotional exhaustion related to their work. It’s open to people working in emergency response, nursing, medical roles, healthcare assistants, ambulance teams and other patient-facing frontline roles.
How to Access the Support
1. Visit the Frontline19 Get Support Page
Go to: https://frontline19.com/get-support/, this is where you access the confidential support service.
2. Complete the Short Online Form
You’ll be asked to fill out a simple, confidential registration form. No workplace involvement is needed - your details are only used to match you with a suitable therapist.
3. Choose Your Preferred Contact Method
When you fill in the form, you can state how you want to be contacted - for example by WhatsApp, email, phone or Zoom.
4. Wait for Contact from a Therapist
Once your form is submitted, Frontline19 will match you with a qualified counsellor or therapist. They will contact you directly to arrange sessions. Due to high demand, current waiting times can be around 8–10 weeks, but you’ll receive confirmation of this once you submit your request.
5. Attend Sessions at Your Pace
Sessions are flexible, you can have as many or as few as you want, up to the number offered by your therapist (often up to 12). You’re in control of how and when they take place.
