The GLA's Know Your Rights Campaign
From April 2026, employment rights in the UK will change. These changes include:
- sick pay from day one
- improved parental leave
- stronger protections for workers.
To ensure these changes benefit Londoners, it is vital that workers understand what will change, what they are entitled to, and where to get support.
The GLA is running the ‘Know Your Rights’ campaign to raise awareness of these changes and signpost Londoners to the Employment Rights Hub. This is an online resource that outlines rights at work and explains where to get support in London. The hub is being redeveloped in line with changing rights and to improve accessibility, with a new hub launching on 6 April.
To maximise reach and support local outreach, the GLA is inviting partners and organisations to help amplify the campaign. A Stakeholder Pack is available with this messaging, as well as assets and template content, that can be used and adapted.
