Help Shape the Kensington and Chelsea Economy Plan - Consultation
RBKC is developing a new Economy Plan, which will set out the Council’s priorities for supporting residents and businesses across Kensington and Chelsea over the next three years.
The economy is more than just about money. It's about the everyday things that help a place work well for the people who live, work, study, and spend time there. That can include everything from where you buy your food, how you renovate your home, where you eat out and how you spend your leisure time, as well as finding decent jobs, acquiring new skills, starting or growing a business or accessing services.
We want to ensure that the views of people who live, work and enjoy spending time in the borough are heard as part of the consultation, along with the organisations that support them through creating community connections, running programmes or employing people. We would welcome your support in people and local organisations to take part to ensure that the final plan reflects the needs of our communities. The plan discusses how the Council will support with things like employment, skills & training, and developing or running a business.
We have two asks:
- Please share the consultation with your networks and encourage people to have their say. The link is below.
- If you have any events happening between now and 6 December, we would welcome the opportunity to attend and speak about the Economy Plan and the consultation. If possible, we would appreciate a 15-minute slot to gather feedback from attendees to some specific questions.
Your role as a partner to the Council is important to us in serving the residents and communities across the borough, and we really appreciate your support in creating a vibrant and inclusive economy in Kensington & Chelsea.
