Hoarding Awareness Week 12th - 16th May 2025
National Hoarding Awareness Week takes place from 12th – 16th May 2025 and includes a range of exciting opportunities for practitioners to increase their knowledge and understanding of people who present with hoarding behaviours (Often inappropriately described as “Hoarders”). The event is sponsored by Clouds End, a specialist provider many of you will be familiar with, who will be hosting some FREE online workshops and seminars. Please click this link for more information National Hoarding Awareness Week - Clouds End Hoarding Support and Training on the FREE seminars which include:

13/05/2025: Affirming conversation: Supporting Individuals with Hoarding and Executive Function

Also taking place during Hoarding Awareness Week is the Hoarding UK Annual Conference with a focus on the language used when talking about hoarding behaviour. I’ll be attending this conference and it would be great to see colleagues from Housing and Adult Social Care in attendance. Unlike Cloud’s End Hoarding UK is a registered charity which relies solely on limited income and donations to survive and continue providing specialist support to those with hoarding behaviours. Tickets for this event are £10 for any professionals who would like to attend.
