Latest update on Adult Community Specialist Palliative Care – July 2026

NHS West and North London ICB has recently published a further update on adult community specialist palliative and end‑of‑life care in north west London.

This bulletin builds on the April update and provides more specific detail on how the new, more consistent model of care is being implemented across individual boroughs, reflecting phased delivery and different starting points.

Key developments highlighted in this update include:

• Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) has expanded the Harrow Community Specialist Palliative Care Team for six days a week coverage from 8am- - 6pm as part of a phased roll out to expand the service to seven days a week, 8am- – 8pm. 
• Meadow House Hospice has expanded and embedded their Hounslow and Ealing Community Specialist Palliative Care Team to five days a week, 8am- – 8pm. 
• West London NHS Trust is leading on the development of the new Hounslow and Ealing Hospice at Home Service and implementation plans and timescales are being finalised.
