The Loved and Wanted campaign - Mayor Of London
This Vakentine's day on the 14th February the Mayor of London launched a new campaign that many of you are now familiar with. Loved and Wanted sends a strong message that all Londoners are respected and valued in this city – a sentiment we know you already promote through your incredible work, and often during Londoners’ most vulnerable moments.
The past year has been a difficult one with national and global events leaving many communities directly affected. We know that these events have increased demand for the valuable services you provide.
Deputy Mayor for Communities and Social Justice, Dr Debbie Weekes-Bernard has today penned an open letter speaking to the values of this campaign and thanking you for everything you do to help people in London feel loved, wanted and valued.
Launching the campaign on Valentine’s Day is a moment to reaffirm our city’s values of diversity, unity and inclusion, and show all communities that London is, and always will be, a place where everyone is welcome.
