image003_2.pngLoved & Wanted: Assets to share the Loved & Wanted message for UK Black Pride

I hope you had a great Pride month – but the celebration and the protest, of course continues.

Pride in London

At Pride, the Mayor of London sent a clear message to the LGBTQI+ community: you are–and will always be–Loved & Wanted in London.

In an exclusive interview with Attitude Magazine, The Mayor said, “I don’t want is us to regress the rights that have been hard-fought and won been rowed back.”  You can read the full article here: Mayor of London speaks out on Supreme Court's definition of 'sex' (EXCLUSIVE).

Continue sharing the message

This Trans+ Pride and UK Black Pride we’re continuing to share the message that the LGBTQI+ community is Loved & Wanted in London, and we hope you will join us. You can use the stakeholder toolkit at this link which provides helpful tips on how you can share the message.

I’m also pleased to let you know that the London queer artist Disco Dickins’ Loved & Wanted mural is now up until the 17th August – make sure you pop over to see it on the corner of Redchurch Street and Turville Street in Shoreditch before then and take photos to help to amplify the message even further.

About the Loved & Wanted campaign

The Mayor is determined to stand up for all Londoners, ensuring that all of London’s communities feel loved, valued, and celebrated in the capital.

That’s why we launched the ‘Loved & Wanted’ campaign on Valentine’s Day with a citywide takeover of the message, kicked off by an immersive artwork from our partners at Outernet and host of press coverage – sending a loud and clear message to all communities across the city that they are Loved & Wanted.

The campaign reaffirms our city’s values of diversity, togetherness, and inclusion, proudly embracing what makes our city so special: that London is – and always will be – a place for everyone.  You can find out more about it here: You are loved and wanted in London | London City Hall
