Managing Concerns about Persons in Positions of Trust (PIPOT) Framework – now published

SAEB_logo.pngThe Managing Concerns about Persons in Positions of Trust (PIPOT) Framework has now been published on the SAEB website.

Download framework at the link here

This framework provides guidance for partner agencies on how to respond to concerns or allegations about an employee or volunteer who works with adults with care and support needs, where the concern relates to activity outside of their professional or volunteering role. It also clarifies how to distinguish between matters that should be managed under PIPOT, those that fall under safeguarding adults/children procedures, and those that are best addressed via complaints or quality-of-care processes.
