Communicating Climate: Applications now open!
Applications close Friday 31 July
Is your organisation campaigning for climate justice or building support for stronger climate leadership? Our free expert-led training programme can help you strengthen your communications and reach more people.
Now in its sixth year, Communicating Climate is Media Trust’s award-winning programme supporting charities and community groups to communicate climate issues with confidence, creativity and impact.
Delivered in partnership with MG OMD, the programme brings together specialist workshops and peer support sessions exploring how to:
Tell stories that build hope and trust in divided times
Respond to challenging narratives around climate action
Use communications to connect, persuade and mobilise audiences
Sessions will be led by sector experts including Climate Outreach, Forward Action and the Green Party, alongside opportunities to build a lasting network with other climate communicators.
The programme runs for three months from September 2026 and is open to UK-based charities and community groups working on climate justice. We’re excited to accept both first-time applicants and organisations that have previously participated and looking to update and further their learning.
