Agenda: We are very keen to hear from community groups to share experience of working with older people of Global Majority heritage.
The meeting will be a chance to:
- Gain understanding about what groups need (other than funding) in order to build capacity
- Discuss needs and gaps of provision
- Highlight good practice
- Discuss collaboration and opportunities for partnerships

Background:
- There are 26,200 residents aged 65 and over, a number expected to grow.
- Almost half or Westminster residents identify as being from a global majority heritage, often facing additional barriers to accessing support.
- One in three older residents lives alone, with approximately 11,900 individuals lacking immediate household support.
- 1 in 5 residents aged 55+ reported feeling lonely, highlighting the urgent need for social connection and holistic wellbeing support.
