ABOUT THE MENTAL HEALTH PILOT

What we’ve heard from the community is clear. There’s a gap in community-led, culturally appropriate mental health support. Many residents from Global Majority backgrounds, especially Black African & Caribbean, South Asian, and Arabic communities, face barriers to diagnosis and care due to cultural differences in how mental health is experienced and understood. This pilot aims to change that!
