Raising awareness of foot and ankle conditions on International Podiatry Day

CLCH_NHS_Trust_logo.jpgDid you know in our lifetime we walk about 150,000 miles or six times around the world?

So looking after our feet is important but where can you get information on how to keep your feet healthy?

Every year on 8th October podiatrists across the world seek to raise awareness of podiatry and better treat those with foot and ankle conditions to improve general health. This date is known as International Podiatry Day.

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust provides podiatry services in many different settings across Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. This year on International Podiatry Day our podiatrists would like to join you to share what they do, what foot conditions they treat and helpful tips for caring for your feet.

You might have something different in mind and we would be happy to shape the session around what is most important to you.

If you have any events or meetings coming up in September or early October and would be interested in one of our dedicated professionals joining you to help promote good foot health, please contact Susan Blackwell, Patient Experience Facilitator, at susan.blackwell@nhs.net
