Share the ‘Loved & Wanted’ message this Pride Month

Thank you for supporting the Mayor of London’s values campaign ‘Loved and Wanted in London.’ We’re back in touch ahead of Pride to ask you to help us send the message to the LGBTQI+ community that they are - and will always – Loved & Wanted in London, by sharing our new Pride assets with you.

At the launch you were part of over 140 organisations who joined us to stand up for London’s values of diversity, togetherness, and inclusion and by sharing the message to London’s communities that they are loved & wanted in the city. Thanks to your support, 4 in 5 Londoners agreed that the city celebrates those from all backgrounds (based on recent polling).

Help send a message to the LGBTQI+ community ahead of Pride that they are Loved & Wanted in London

London has always been a beacon for openness, equality, and LGBTQI+ rights – and the mayor is determined that this remains the case.  

That’s why, this Pride Month we’re sending a loud and clear message: to the LGBTQI+ community that you are - and will always be - Loved & Wanted in London.

You may have already seen our message of love and support across the city to London’s queer community - from our immersive creative playing at Outernet’s big screens in central London, across the Underground, and at Pride.

And today we want to share the exciting news that we’ve just unveiled a vibrant new mural designed by queer artist Disco Dickins. You can find it on 83 Redchurch Street, Shoreditch. It’s a brilliant piece of artwork that we encourage you to go down and see and share.

About the Loved & Wanted Campaign

The campaign ‘Loved & Wanted’ campaign launched on Friday 14 February with a citywide takeover of the message, kicked off by an immersive artwork from our partners at Outernet and press coverage – sending a loud and clear message to all communities across the city that they are Loved & Wanted.
