Sudan - Advice and information sessions (starts 01.10.2024)

The North Kensington Law Centre, in partnership with the Mayor of London, is hosting a series of information sessions for newly arrived members of the Sudanese community in London on topics including:

Session 1: Introduction and overview

Session 2: The asylum and protection system

Session 3: Other immigration routes – family members and discretionary leave

Session 4: Benefits advice session

Session 5: Access to housing

Session 6: Family members, well-being and local communities

Session 7: Accessing practical services

Session 8: Feedback session

The first session will take place on 1 October from 2-4pm and will be an introduction session. Sessions will happen every two weeks between now and December, both online and in person.

The sessions will be conducted in English with Arabic translation available, and priority will be given to community members involved in the evacuation from Sudan in April 2023 and currently located in London.
