Da’aro Youth Project is an organisation dedicated to removing obstacles in order to maximise the life chances of young asylum-seekers and refugees from the Horn of Africa region. They will be hosting two upcoming events:
Building bridges with Da’aro Youth Project – Digital Handbook launch (17.09.26)
Join us for the launch of a new practical handbook co-produced by SOAS University of London and Da'aro Youth Project (DYP), bringing together innovative approaches, resources, and collaborative practices to support young people seeking asylum.
This event will bring together practitioners, community organisations and researchers to reflect on the key challenges affecting the wellbeing of young people seeking asylum and explore how we can strengthen collective responses across the sector.
The handbook was developed following a multi-stakeholder roundtable hosted at SOAS University of London, which examined how organisations can work together to build sustainable, community-led systems of support for young people navigating the asylum system.
We hope you can join us for this important conversation and contribute to the continued development of this collaborative effort.
