Voluntary Sector Support Fund 2027-30

RBKC logo.pngThe Voluntary Sector Support Fund (VSSF) 2027-30 grant provides core funding to voluntary and community sector organisations delivering services that improve life for residents in Kensington and Chelsea

In December 2023 the Council agreed an allocation of VSSF grants to 20 organisations to run from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2027. A further nine grants were awarded under the scheme to smaller organisations through a Small Grants Fund run by the K+C Foundation over the same period.

We are pleased to announce the VSSF scheme will continue from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030. A total of £2.6m has been confirmed for the voluntary sector in Kensington and Chelsea over this period.

Through this funding round, we aim to work with organisations to:

  • Help residents experiencing disadvantage or vulnerability
  • Support residents earlier with their issues
  • Establish a resilient and collaborative network of voluntary and community sector partners
  • Maximise the impact of Council investment by supporting organisations as they seek further funding
  • Reduce demand on Council services

This grant application process will consist of two stages:

  • Stage one: Expression of interest
  • Stage two: Full application (by invitation only)

Learn more about submitting an expression of interest here: Voluntary Sector Support Fund 2027-2030 | Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. You can submit this anytime between Monday 16 March and 12pm noon on Thursday 30 April.
