Westminster City Council’s new Community Hubs programme opportunity
From the end of June, the Community Hubs team and Libraries service will be running two ‘mini community hubs’ from Charing Cross and Victoria Libraries. This will be a programme of activity running for three days each week, including a number of evenings and weekends, which aims to improve health and wellbeing outcomes by bringing people together and/or connecting them to services and support. Based on community engagement, Charing Cross will have a focus on ‘intergenerational learning and intercultural exchange’, while Victoria will have a focus on ‘community creativity and innovation’.
Would your organisation be interested in running an activity from either ‘mini hub’? We are offering the space for free, as well as promotion, publicity and staff support for activities which run from either Charing Cross or Victoria Libraries as part of the programme, and may be able to cover expenses.
If you’re interested then please fill out this short form (if you want to run different activities, you can fill it in for each activity) by Monday June 10th. We will review submissions as they come in, and if there is a good fit with what we’d like to offer will reach out for a follow-up call. Please note that filling in the form doesn’t commit you to delivering the activity if anything changes!
