Westminster Talking Therapies Outreach Update (and Role opportunity!)

CNWL_Logo.pngIn January 2026, Gina Casserly will be leaving her post as Community Development and Engagement Lead at Westminster Talking Therapies. She will not be going very far – she has been appointed as Westminster’s Neighbourhood and Innovation Lead for CNWL. This means that she will still be in community mental health but with a larger remit of partnering NHS, VCSE and Local Authority Organisations in the development of Neighbourhood Health beyond primary care.

CNWL is now advertising her post of Community Development and Engagement Lead externally. Please share this post with anyone who might be interested in the role. They are looking for someone who has strong links to Westminster organisations and a passion for reducing health inequalities. If capacity allows, Gina would be happy to have a chat with those who would like to find out more (gina.casserly@nhs.net). This is a fantastic dynamic role working with an excellent and supportive team. The closing date is December 1st, but there is a chance that it might close earlier.

As the recruitment process has been longer than expected, there is a possibility that there will be no one in post at the beginning of the year. Therefore, she would like to ask that if you would like to book in workshops, stalls, drop-ins with Westminster Talking Therapies from January – March 2026, you please book this in with her by Friday, December 14th. This will allow her to have outreach in place before she leaves so there is no gap in service.
