Do you have lived experience of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)?

The Medical Research Council Laboratory of Medical Sciences (MRC LMS) is collaborating with the University of Birmingham to organise two art and science workshops on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Gestational Diabetes (GDM). 

PCOS Art & Science workshop details:

• Date: Thursday 28 November 2024

• Time: 2pm - 5pm

• Location: Institute of Medical Sciences, Hammersmith Hospital,  Du Cane Road, London, W12 0HS

The two workshops on PCOS and GDM, will connect scientists, artists, and community members with lived experience, to raise awareness about women’s health and share the latest research.

From the conversations emerging during the workshops, artists will create artwork inspired by the scientific insights and personal stories shared. This collaborative piece will be showcased at a public engagement event in London on 30 January 2025, where everyone will be invited back to view the final piece, alongside a wider audience.

Confirmed participants will receive a £50 gift voucher as a token of appreciation for their time. Travel expenses with receipt as travel evidence will also be covered. Food and drinks provided.
