Young Westminster Foundation March Newsletter (2026)

Our funding news includes two green Westminster funding initiatives - both with deadlines coming up soon!
Our training and resources roundup includes free cyber security training for Westminster's voluntary sector organised by WCC and One Westminster in response to the growing risk of cyber attacks.
Plus, you can find team news from YWF, a report from our YEP! programme graduation event and a spotlight on the lovely venue spaces at the newly opened Brunel Happy Hub.
YEP! CELEBRATION EVENT
In February we held a graduation and celebration event for our latest cohort of YEP! participants (YWF's Youth Engagement Programme). They've been immersing themselves in learning spanning research, grant-making, public speaking, and social action.
At the celebration event, held in the Mayor’s Parlour, we invited our fantastic participants to present their social action projects to a panel, including Westminster's Lord Mayor, Paul Dimoldenberg. They also shared reflections on their journey over the past few months.
We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.
YEP! offers a pathway to joining YWF as one of our Youth Associates - young leaders who are driving change across Westminster.
Stay tuned for updates, and get in touch to find out more.
GOODBYE MARIUM!

We are going to miss Marium such a lot! Thank you Marium for your inspiring leadership of Helping Hands and for all that you've done to strengthen collaboration and support the development of local community projects addressing the impact of youth violence in Westminster.
Luckily for us Marium is not going too far away... She will be starting in a new role as Programme Director at Young Camden Foundation later this month and continuing to work on youth safety in Westminster, Brent and Camden.
