Young Westminster Foundation April 2026 Funding News EXTRA!

We are excited to be sharing news with you about 3 special funding opportunities which could benefit organisations working with children and young people in Westminster. They all have deadlines coming up very soon so we wanted to share these asap:

UK Youth Fund - expression of interest due 6 May

Mayor of London’s Shared Endeavour Fund - deadline 8 May

Go! London Foundation - sports funding, deadline 5 May

 

THE UK YOUTH FUND

UK Youth & Pears Foundation have launched a £10 million fund for youth and outdoor learning organisations with turnover under £500,000. It offers multi‑year, unrestricted funding plus capacity‑building support.

Funding aims to improve financial sustainability and organisational resilience. You can apply for up to 10% of annual turnover.

Stage 1 is an expression of interest with some multiple choice questions and a checklist - due by Wednesday 6 May (full applications by Tuesday 3 June).

MAYOR OF LONDON’S SHARED ENDEAVOUR FUND

Not-for-profit organisations are invited to apply to the Shared Endeavour Fund to support innovative work in London that counters racism, hate, intolerance, extremism, and radicalisation.

Work can be in one borough or span several boroughs. Grants are from £10,000 to £30,000 for work in one borough, while more is available for work with a wider geographical spread. Projects should have 50% matched funding.

Deadline: 11am, 8 May 2026

GO! LONDON FOUNDATION GRANTS

Grants of up to £40,000 for sport and physical activity programmes supporting underserved children and young people aged 4–24.

Funding can cover wraparound services such as mentoring, life skills, or mental health support. Organisations must be not-for-profit and with turnover under £500,000.

Deadline: 5pm, Thursday 5 May 2026
