National Youth Sector Census 2025
The National Youth Agency (NYA) census is open for responses now!
The aim is to build a picture of the national youth work sector, understand about levels of need and inform government policy and plans.
WESTMINSTER CLIMATE FUND
Westminster City Council has launched a £6m fund to boost decarbonisation in the borough.
The Climate Fund includes city-wide decarbonisation, community-led energy projects and behaviour change programmes promoting greener living. More details via the link below:

Co-op Foundation Future Communities Fund
Up to £30,000 per annum for up to five years. For organisations working with young people with experience of the justice system (and with annual income under £250k).
Deadline: 12 June 2025
Rosa's Rise Fund
2 year grants, up to £40,000. For organisations with income £30k-£300k. Organisational development funding for Black and racially minoritised-led women’s and girls’ organisations across the UK.

RUN A CODE CLUB: PRACTITIONERS' TRAINING
Raspberry Pi are offering a free training programme to equip youth and community organisations with the skills to run a Code Club for young people.
NEW SAFEGUARDING RESOURCE
This newly-published illustrated resource from GOV.UK looks really useful for youth workers. Using accessible, child-friendly text and illustrations it explains how practitioners, parents and carers all share a responsibility to keep young people safe, and how they can do so by working together.
WESTMINSTER WELLBEING SUPPORT
The Westminster Wellbeing Hub offers support for both practitioners and the young people you work with. Whether dealing with anxiety, loneliness, or just feeling overwhelmed, the Wellbeing Hub has a range of good resources.
Finding things difficult? It is OK to reach out.
Westminster Talking Therapies is a free and confidential NHS service supporting individuals with mental health difficulties including stress, low mood, and anxiety.
Anyone over the age of 16 can access the service if they live, work, or have a GP in the borough of Westminster.
Great Exhibition Road Festival: 7-8 June
This weekend sees the return of the Great Exhibition Road Festival in South Kensington. This free science and arts festival has loads of activities, shows and hands on workshops, and is open to everyone.
Young Curators programme!
The Showroom are looking for young people aged 16–21, who live in Westminster and are passionate about social justice, the environment, and the arts!
Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA)
This social enterprise is helping young people aged 10–16 to develop real-world business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Their fun and engaging digital learning series, Basics of Business: Beginner to Boss, has been developed with the UCL School of Management and the Institute of Education.
