STRONG FUTURES

Grants of up to £200,000 to support community-led organisations working to improve the educational outcomes, employability prospects, mental, physical health and wellbeing of young people at risk or involved in violence.

Stronger Futures enables community-led groups to support those young Londoners aged 8-18 years-old who are most in-need and affected by violence, providing them with skills, opportunities and support during the high risk hours after-school and in holiday periods.

Funded organisations will deliver afterschool activities (Monday to Friday, 3pm–10pm) and school holiday programmes (12pm–6pm), supporting young people.

SKILLS FOR LONDONERS COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME

Grants to support community organisations raising awareness of and increasing participation in London's adult skills and employment support opportunities.

Available grants are from £70,000 to £120,000, over two years. Up to 28 organisations will be funded and a target group identified is young adults including young people who are NEET and care leavers.

Applicants must be London-based community organisations with an annual income under £500,000.

THE GREEN ROOTS FUND

Funding from the Mayor of London to support projects creating and improving green and blue infrastructure in London.

Not-for-profit organisations and local authorities can apply for grants ranging from £10,000 to £500,000 over the next three years. A total pot of £12m is available.

You will need to find match funding of at least 10%, including in-kind (non-monetary contributions eg donated materials, staff or volunteer time).

The next application deadline is Thursday, 28 May 2026. Deadlines are expected to happen twice a year.

UNLTD FUNDING FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS

Awards of up to £18,000 are available to help social entrepreneurs across the UK aged 16 and over to start up or grow their idea for a social venture and develop their potential as social leaders.

The charity funds and supports hundreds of individuals each year through its social enterprise support programmes, which are designed to help social entrepreneurs develop as social leaders and start up or grow their idea for a social venture.

The awards programme closes when it reaches capacity (which could be soon!) or at 9am on 1 June 2026.

WOMEN AND GIRLS MATCH FUND - THE BIG GIVE

The Big Give's Women and Girls Match Fund uses a match funding model, meaning every public donation made during the campaign is doubled. It's a great opportunity for charities working to improve the lives of women and girls. 

Charities can seek to raise between £500 and £10,000 in public donations, and funds can be used for specific projects or core costs. To understand more about the Campaign Stage Breakdown visit the website.

NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND: REACHING COMMUNITIES

Grants of £20,001 or more are available for projects lasting up to 5 years, supporting communities across England.

This fund prioritises projects that help people shape decisions affecting their lives and deliver impact in key areas, including youth development, health inequalities, community connection, and environmental sustainability.
