Walk in Centres Information
At our recent BME Health Forum Quarterly meeting we heard from Jo Hamilton of Central London Community Healthcare who spoke to us about their Walk-in centres at the following locations how we can make use of the Service.
Soho (Open 8-8 Monday-Friday and 10-8 Saturday and Sunday)
Soho Health Centre, 1 Frith St, Soho W1D 3HZ
Closest tube: Tottenham Court Road
St Charles (Open 8-8 every day)
St Charles Hospital, Exmoor St, W10 6DZ
Closest tube: Ladbrook Grove

Parsons Green (Open 8-8 Monday to Friday and 9-1.30 Saturday and Sunday)

Making stroke research work for everyone
We also heard from Jenny Crow of NIHR (National Institute of Health & Care Research)
Jenny spoke about Making stroke research work for everyone. You can view her presentation slides here.
She spoke about how strokes are more common for black and South Asian communities and yet these communities are not represented enough in research To facilitate better healthcare for everyone we need to better involve and engage everyone in research.
Some of the ways you could get involved in research:
- 1 to 1 chat – in person, online, over the phone
- Meeting locally with you and your family
- Taking part in a community group – online or face to face
- Working with us to create solutions
- One off or ongoing involvement
- Your time and travel expenses will be reimbursed
